NAStore 3.0 External Reference Specification
This document describes the overall design of NAStore and specifies all user
interaction. It is intended for system administrators and people desiring
an overview of the system.
The External Reference Specification describes the component parts of
NAStore and how they interact, defines the user and administrator
interface, and provides reference information on the databases
and their formats. For information on NAStore internals, please consult the
Internal Design Specification.
Though most user interaction with NAStore continues to look like
interaction with a normal UNIX operating system, programmer interfaces
and system administrator interfaces are expanded. Each section
includes descriptions of these expansions.
