NAStore - Requirements

• NAStore runs under UNIX.
• A special filesystem is required to handle the data migration. One - DMFS - is being readied for release to NetBSD; the SGI DMAPI filesystem could also be adapted for this purpose.
• The components communicate via TCP/IP.
• The open-source DB3 package is used for databases.
• The supported removable media are manually mounted tapes, generic SCSI tape autochangers, and StorageTek ACS robots.
